Television & Episodic Audio Post-Production
Narrative television depends on clarity, continuity and consistent storytelling from episode to episode. Mix My Spot provides audio post-production for scripted series, pilots, limited series, web episodes and narrative television content.
We bring dialogue, music, effects and environments together while respecting the pace, perspective and emotional range of the story.
Consistency Across an Episode and Series
Dialogue continuity is the backbone of episodic work. Scenes shot on different days, in different locations and on different microphones are matched so a conversation holds together and a character sounds like the same person throughout.
Once an approved episode exists, it becomes the reference for everything that follows. Level, tone, music balance and effects density are carried forward so a season plays as one piece rather than a set of separately finished episodes.
Stereo and 5.1 Television Mixing
Format and loudness requirements come from the network, platform or supplied delivery specification, and they are confirmed before the mix begins.
Stereo covers most streaming and digital delivery. A 5.1 mix is prepared when the specification requires it. Stereo and 5.1 remain the principal formats we deliver.
Dialogue, Effects and Sound Design
Dialogue is edited and prepared first: takes matched, production noise addressed, and perspective set against the cut.
Effects, backgrounds and environments are then placed to establish location and continuity, with music balanced around the performance. Selected design support is added where a scene needs it rather than applied across the board.
Episodic Workflow
Series work rewards repeatable process. A consistent turnover format, agreed file-naming conventions and a session template shared across episodes keep each delivery predictable.
Each episode follows the same route: turnover, first pass, consolidated time-coded notes, agreed revisions and delivery against the schedule you supply.
Masters, Stems and Versions
Depending on the agreed scope, deliverables may include the full mix, dialogue, music and effects stems, alternate versions and M&E materials for international distribution.
These are prepared when the specification requires them and are scoped separately rather than assumed as part of every mix.
