Professional Post Mixing in Los Angeles

Mix My Spot is a working post-production audio mixing room in North Hollywood, minutes from the Burbank, Studio City and Hollywood production corridor. Producers, editors and agencies across Los Angeles use us for trailers, promos, commercials, episodic television, features and game marketing — attended in person or handled remotely, whichever fits the schedule.

Where We Are: North Hollywood

The room is located at 4240 Satsuma Ave, North Hollywood, CA 91602 — just off the 134 and 101, with easy access from Burbank, Studio City, Toluca Lake, Sherman Oaks, Glendale and the Hollywood studio lots. Sessions are by appointment only so the room is quiet, prepped and calibrated before you arrive. Parking is on site and we'll send arrival details with your booking confirmation.

Los Angeles Service Area

We regularly work with clients throughout the San Fernando Valley, the Westside, Downtown LA, Culver City, Santa Monica, Pasadena and the Burbank studio district, plus Orange County and San Diego when a campaign runs regionally. Deliverables can be dropped to a network, agency or studio pipeline the same day they're approved.

Attended Sessions vs. Remote Sessions

Some Los Angeles clients want to sit in the room — especially for a final trailer pass, an agency approval or a picky client review. Others simply want the mix done and the files delivered. Both are normal here. Attended sessions are booked in advance so the room is dedicated to your project for the day. If you'd rather stay at your cut, we run the same session remotely with a passcode-protected approval mix, and you can still call the mixer directly while he's working.

The Room and Monitoring

Mixing happens in a treated, calibrated control room built for picture work — full-range near-field monitoring for detail, plus level-matched playback so what you approve here translates to broadcast, theatrical, streaming and phone speakers. We check every mix against the loudness spec it has to hit (broadcast, streaming platform, theatrical trailer or agency standard) before anything leaves the room.

Stereo, Surround and Dolby Atmos

Deliverables include stereo, 5.1 and 7.1 surround, and Dolby Atmos. Print masters and derivative stems are prepared to your specification as 24-bit / 48k WAV as standard. View post-production audio services for the full format and deliverable list.

Los Angeles Clients We Work With

Trailer houses and creative agencies cutting theatrical and streaming campaigns. Network and cable promo departments. Game publishers and their marketing partners. Commercial production companies and brand teams. Independent producers, documentary teams and post supervisors who need a dependable mixer without booking a full facility. If you're on a deadline in LA, that's the whole reason this room exists.

You Work Directly With the Mixer

There's no coordinator layer, no ticket queue and no handoff between staff who've never seen your cut. You talk to the person actually mixing your project — before the session, during it, and when notes come back. That's the single biggest reason schedules hold.

Selected Los Angeles Projects

Recent LA-originated campaigns include theatrical trailer work, FX network promo packages, national commercial spots and game marketing for major publishers. Browse selected post-mixing work to hear and see representative projects, or ask for a reel targeted to your genre.

Booking, Directions and Hours

Normal hours are Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm Pacific, with evening and weekend scheduling available when booked in advance. Same-day and rush sessions are sometimes possible — call or email and we'll tell you honestly whether we can hold the date. Address and directions are sent on confirmation; the room is not a walk-in facility.
